Independent tests at RISE were carried out to test how much energy savings CoolSaver's solution achieved and how much ethylene gas could be reduced in the fridge & freezer environment. The tests were carried out in a controlled environment and demonstrated an energy saving of 27% and a reduction in ethylene gas, where the shelf life of fruit and vegetables was up to doubled.
